Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the online multiplayer game Chariots of Ra (the "Game"), operated by Archstone Solutions ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, downloading, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Game.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction, to use the Game.

By using the Game, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Registration & Security

• One account per person.
• Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
• Accounts may not be sold, transferred, or assigned.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. License to Use the Game

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

You do not acquire ownership of the Game or any in-game content.

5. Virtual Currency & Digital Items

The Game may include virtual currency, including but not limited to Ka, and other digital items.

• Virtual currency and digital items have no real-world monetary value.
• They are not redeemable for cash.
• They are not transferable between users.
• You do not own virtual currency or digital items; you receive a limited license to use them within the Game.

You acknowledge that 'Ka' and rank progression are game-play metrics and not a form of property or vested right. We reserve the right to recalibrate, reset, or adjust the 'Scale of Ma'at' formulas at any time to maintain competitive balance without liability.

6. Purchases & Refunds

If the Game offers paid digital content, subscriptions, or virtual currency:

• All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.
• Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing, content, and availability at any time.
• We are not responsible for payment processing errors caused by third-party payment providers.

7. Advertising & Sponsored Content

The Game may display advertisements, promotional content, or sponsored messages provided by third-party advertising networks or partners. By using the Game, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Advertisements may appear during gameplay, in menus, or between matches.
• Some advertisements may be personalized based on general device or usage information, subject to your privacy settings and applicable laws.
• Archstone Solutions does not control the content of third-party advertisements and does not endorse the products or services advertised.
• Interactions with advertisers, including purchases or participation in promotions, are solely between you and the advertiser. Archstone Solutions is not responsible for any loss, damage, or issues arising from such interactions.

If the Game offers optional rewards for viewing advertisements, we reserve the right to limit, modify, or discontinue such rewards at any time.

8. User Content (Callsigns & Avatars)

You may upload custom callsigns and avatars. By submitting content, you grant Archstone Solutions a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Game.

Content may be reviewed using automated AI moderation systems. We reserve the right to remove or modify content and suspend accounts if content violates our standards.

We utilize third-party AI tools for real-time content moderation. While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that these systems may occasionally misidentify content. We reserve the right to uphold automated bans without disclosing the specific logic used by our AI models to prevent system gaming.

You may not upload content that is:

• Offensive, obscene, or hateful
• Impersonating another individual
• Infringing intellectual property rights
• Illegal or unlawful

We reserve sole discretion in determining violations.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use cheats, exploits, bots, automation, or unauthorized software
• Manipulate matchmaking, scoring, or ranking systems
• Exploit bugs or unintended mechanics
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Game
• Interfere with servers or network infrastructure
• Use automation, scripts, bots, or other methods to artificially trigger advertisements or obtain advertisement-based rewards

10. Cheating, Exploits & Enforcement

We may monitor gameplay and technical data, including automated analysis, to detect cheating or abuse. This includes attempts to manipulate advertisement systems or advertisement-based rewards.

If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in cheating or exploitative behavior, we may:

• Reset or modify your statistics
• Remove Ka or virtual currency
• Roll back progression
• Suspend or permanently ban your account
• Enforce penalties without prior notice

To maintain the integrity of the 'Hall of Deeds,' we collect and analyze technical telemetry, including but not limited to input patterns, network latency, and process signatures, to detect the use of unauthorized automation or exploits.

We may take action based on suspected cheating, even if not conclusively proven. Our enforcement decisions are final.

11. Game Modifications & Service Availability

We reserve the right to:

• Modify game mechanics, vehicle attributes, balancing systems, and scoring formulas
• Adjust or recalculate progression, Ka values, and rankings
• Modify or discontinue game modes
• Shut down servers temporarily or permanently
• Suspend or discontinue the Game entirely

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Service availability may be affected by your local network configuration, NAT type, and firewall settings. We are not responsible for your inability to connect to the Game due to technical limitations of your internet service provider or hardware.

Certain features of the Game, including advertisements or advertisement-based rewards, may depend on third-party services. We do not guarantee the availability or functionality of such services.

No compensation will be provided for balance changes, stat adjustments, downtime, or discontinued features.

12. Intellectual Property

All content within the Game, including software, artwork, designs, logos, mechanics, and systems, is owned by Archstone Solutions or its licensors.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written permission.

13. Streaming & Content Creation

You may stream or create monetized video content featuring the Game (e.g., Twitch, YouTube), provided that:

• You do not imply endorsement by Archstone Solutions
• You comply with these Terms
• You do not use the Game in unlawful or defamatory contexts

We reserve the right to revoke this permission.

14. Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Service availability may be affected by your local network configuration, NAT type, and firewall settings. We are not responsible for your inability to connect to the Game due to technical limitations of your internet service provider or hardware.

We make no representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or safety of third-party advertisements displayed within the Game.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Archstone Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Archstone Solutions shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from interactions with third-party advertisers.
• Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to the Game shall not exceed the lesser of: CAD $100; or the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Archstone Solutions from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Game
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your user-generated content

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Game at any time. Upon termination, your license to use the Game immediately ends.

18. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Game shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Ontario, conducted virtually where possible.

You waive the right to a jury trial. Either party may bring an individual claim in Ontario Small Claims Court where appropriate.

19. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
